Bowler IX Rallye TT Guadalajara – What to expect

Organised by The Automobile Club Alcarreño and located in the town of Cifuentes, the Rallye TT Guadalajara, now in its ninth year, traces its roots back to the rugged terrain of Guadalajara, Mexico. The event was first held in 2015, with the aim of showcasing the region’s breath-taking landscapes and challenging off-road trails. Over the years, it has grown in popularity and now attracts top off-road racers from around the world.

One of the defining features of the Rallye TT Guadalajara is its demanding terrain. Racers must navigate through a variety of obstacles, including sand dunes, rocky outcrops, and steep inclines, making it a true test of skill, endurance, and the capabilities of their vehicles.

When it comes to vehicle capabilities the Bowler Defenders will be in their off-road element, but the driver teams will need to rely on all the training and experience they have gained in the first four rounds of this Baja series. The Iceland stages last month gave drivers and co-drivers a real mix of off-road experiences but even so, this course will see them facing terrain they have not experienced before, covering over 400 kilometres of unforgiving stages, pushing competitors to their limits. The mix of fast-paced stretches and treacherous technical sections keeps both drivers and co-drivers on their toes throughout the race and the ability to read the terrain and make split-second decisions will be crucial to success.

The IX Rallye TT Guadalajara is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of off-road adventure, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of the rally which is what Bowler is all about. Against the backdrop of the stunning Spanish landscape competitors and spectators alike come together to witness the triumphs and challenges that off-road racing entails.
