Rally Raid
Rally Raid, also known as off road or cross country rallying, traces its history back to the 1970s and is a form of long distance off road racing that takes place over several days, often in extreme environments. Each day requires travelling hundreds of kilometres and events can last from three days to two weeks. Examples of Rally Raid races include the focal Dakar Rally, Africa Eco Race, Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, Baja Aragón, Shamrock Rally, Raid De Himalaya and Rally Reykjavik.
Rally Raid competition is not only for cars, with other major competitive groups including motorcycles, trucks, quads, side-by-sides and buggies, with all classes attracting both experienced and amateur competitors. Navigation is primarily via paper roadbooks in conjunction with a digital odometer to measure distance. The use of GPS or GPS-enabled devices is not allowed and competitors do not have radio communications with their team, making these events true feats of endurance and test of driver and machine.
If you have a specific race in mind, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements and the options of building a bespoke car for your needs, or supporting a particular race.
